On the 7th of August 2017, in its 3rd annual Celebration of Arab Glamour & Success in Beverly Hills, California, Enigma magazine, the leading international lifestyle magazine in the Middle East, flew in two of the biggest celebrities in the Middle East: Superstars Tamer Hosny & Angham were the celebrity guests of honor at the beautiful Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. With each annual celebration, Enigma aims to promote a better understanding and appreciation of Arab culture and art in America by showcasing Arab success stories. Yasmine Shihata, the Founder and CEO of Enigma Magazine, started organizing eniGma Magazine’s ‘Celebration of Arab Glamour & Success in Beverly Hills’ in collaboration in 2015. The event was a huge success and has now become an annual celebration that is eagerly awaited by the Beverly Hills community and Arab visitors every year. This year, Enigma’s event hosted over 400 VIP guests among which were the Mayor of Beverly Hills, Lili Bosse and California Congressman David Drier- who both gave speeches at the celebration.
In 2016, Enigma Magazine introduced its first Enigma Achievement Awards at its Celebration of Arab Glamour & Success Beverly Hills at the Montage Hotel, to honor leading Arab personalities and entrepreneurs, who have had an international impact through their careers. This year, 2017 Enigma Achievement Awards Recipients included Egyptian American entreprenuer and weath management guru Laila Pence, the prominent Saudi scholar and researcher Dr. Haifa Abdel Jamal Al Lail, and Egyptian superstars Tamer Hosny and Angham. The awards are now an integral part of the annual Beverly Hills Celebration and now a highlight of the event.
Yet this year Tamer Hosny stole the show, when he performed several of his greatest hits on stage and really got the crowd on fire! All in all, it was a beautiful, glamourous and important night – showcasing Arab glamour, culture and success in the entertainment capital of the world!
