After years of absence from the cultural scene, the Cairo International Biennale was revived by the Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, for its 13th edition. The opening took place across three venues, the Aisha Fahmy Arts Complex, the Palace of Arts and the Egyptian Modern Art Museum. The event was attended by a number of society’s prominent figures, including former minister of Culture Farouk Hosny, former minister of Foreign Affairs Amr Moussa, the French Ambassador and members of the Faculty of Art Education Board.
