Tawfik Diab has over 25 years of diverse experience in various business sectors. He is currently the Executive Chairman and CEO of Cairo Capital for Financial Investments (CFH), which he co-founded in 2007. He oversees the expansion of the investment portfolio of CFH, particularly in the financial sector, while fostering innovation by supporting promising startups.
From 1998 until the end of 2023, Tawfik played a pivotal role at PICO Group, with contributions spanning investments and energy. Responsible for the energy business of the group, he expanded the group activities beyond Egypt to the USA, Mexico, and Romania. Under his leadership, Cheiron Petroleum boosted production at Cheiron Petroleum from 5,000 to over 130,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, and PICO Petroleum Services reclaimed its leading position in the Egyptian market, also expanding its operations in the Gulf of Mexico and Texas, including offshore project activities.
Tawfik Diab serves on several boards, including as the Vice Chairman & MD at Al Ahly for Development and Investment (ADI) and as the Chairman of PICO Engineering, showcasing his deep expertise in managing diverse portfolios across various industries. He is also a Board of Trustees & ExCom Member in Magdy Yacoub Heart Foundation (MYHF), the Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Gas Association (EGA), and a member of the Egyptian Businessmen Association (EBA), the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), and the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in Egypt, where he served as Vice Chairman of the Energy Committee.
