Under the umbrella of the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development, the Sawiris Cultural awards ceremony was held to honour writers for novels and short stories. Led by Engineer Samih Sawiris, the awards were handed to the winners by celebrities, including Elham Chahine, Shereen Reda and Hala Shiha.
