Salah Diab is the founder of Al Masry Al Youm, Egypt’s leading independent newspaper, and Chairman of PICO Group, the country’s largest agricultural producer. In February 2024, PICO Energy participated in the Egypt Energy Show, focusing on energy transition and decarbonisation. Additionally, Diab is the founder of La Poire, Egypt’s largest pastry manufacturer, and Beano’s Café. He holds significant stakes in New Giza, one of Egypt’s most prominent real estate developments, further solidifying his influence across multiple sectors of the Egyptian economy.
