Hend El Sherbini is Group CEO of Integrated Diagnostics Holdings (IDH), having been appointed in 2012. IDH operates medical laboratories across Egypt under brands including Al Borg Laboratories, Al Borg Scan Centres and Al Mokhtabar Medical Laboratories. In June 2026, Hena Holdings, jointly owned by El Sherbini and her mother, Moemena Kamel, acquired an additional 21.67% stake in IDH, bringing its total holding to 56.66%. In July 2026, Al Mokhtabar launched the Middle East and Africa’s first FLEXLAB-X laboratory automation system in partnership with Siemens Healthineers.
