Our favourite looks from the amfAR Gala Cannes

 The 26th amfAR (Foundation for AIDS Research) Gala Cannes was held at the elegant Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc on May 23 and raised $15 million in support of amfAR’s efforts to develop a cure for HIV.

The event featured performances by Mariah Carey, Sir Tom Jones, Dua Lipa and other big names, alongside a spectacular fashion show curated by Carine Roitfeld.

Olivia Culpo

American model Olivia Culpo, was a vision in this sparkly silver strapless tulle gown by Ermanno Scervino. We love how the slit adds a sultry twist to the timeless dress which was elegantly paired with Pomellato jewelry and silver lace-up sandals by Stuart Weitzman.

 

 

Izabel Goulart

Brazilian model Izabel Goulart went for a killer nude dress by Julien MacDonald. We love the cut-out details and how she paired it with Chopard jewels. Even with the liberal amount of uncovered skin, the look remains classy and elegant.

 

 

Shanina Shaik

Australian model Shanina Shaik went for a see-through gold embellished dress by Georges Hobeika, styled with silver crisscross sandals.

She could have done better with the hairstyle and the earrings, nevertheless she was definitely eye-candy.

 

 

Josephine Skiver

Danish model and Victoria’s Secret Angel Josephine Skiver made a delicate appearance in an Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition dress. Great choice. The dark lipstick elegantly boosted the look!

 

 

Natasha Poly

Russian supermodel Natasha Poly dazzled in this blue hooded gown from Atelier Versace SS19 Couture.

The hairstyle balanced out the high leg slit and the elegant hood. The makeup was light but dramatic, and perfectly complemented by the strappy sandals. Well done!

 

 

Leomie Anderson

Victoria’s Secret Angel Leomie Anderson went for a desaturated rainbow dress by Rami Kadi. This gradient draped fringe dress was gloriously summery and definitely a great choice for her skin tone. Shine on!

 

 

Jasmine Tookes

American model and Victoria’s Secret Angel, Jasmie Tookes radiated in this sunny yellow tie-dyed gown by Georges Chakra.

The gathered ruffled shoulder detail added a richness to the dress, which was nicely styled with Stuart Weitzman sandals and de Grisogono jewels.

 

 

Kendall Jenner

The American model Kendall Jenner looked absolutely fabulous in one of the first pieces from the Giambattista Valli x H&M collaboration.

This shocking-pink tutu convertible dress is gorgeous, dramatic and fiercely feminine.

 

 

Dua Lipa

The English singer & songwriter Dua Lipa looked magical in this one-shoulder red feathered ball gown by Valentino Haute Couture.

Nicely styled with Grisogono jewelry, Jimmy Choo sandals and a simple hairstyle, she really made a statement with this look.

 

 

Sara Sampaio

The Portuguese model and actress Sara Sampaio made an entrance with this dramatic strapless black feathered gown from Giorgio Armani Privé, paired with Messika jewels.

We love how she styled it with a simple ponytail and a touch of bold red lipstick. This dramatic appearance was both striking and powerful.
