Mounir Nakhla is the Co-Founder and CEO of MNT-Halan, which revolutionised Egypt’s fintech and ride-hailing sectors. Securing over $120 million in initial funding, MNT-Halan became Egypt’s best-funded startup. In July 2024, Egypt’s MNT-Halan raised $157.5 million in funding, featuring contributions of $40 million from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), with the remaining funds supplied by Development Partners International (DPI), Lorax Capital Partners, funds managed by Apis Partners LLP, Lunate, and GB Corp.
