Mounir Nakhla is the Founder and CEO of MNT-Halan, Egypt’s first fintech unicorn and one of the region’s largest digital financial services platforms. In June 2026, MNT Halan reached a $1.4 billion valuation following an investment round led by Al Ahly Capital, with the proceeds earmarked largely for expansion in Egypt and across regional markets. Nakhla has also been advancing the company’s payments strategy, including a Visa partnership announced in 2026 after MNT-Halan issued more than one million cards in 2025.
