Mounir Ghabbour, a prominent figure in Egypt’s tourism and hospitality sectors, is the founder of Sakkara Tours, Sonesta Cairo Hotel, and JW Marriott Cairo Hotel, among others. He also serves as the agent for Renault Motors in Egypt and heads the National Heritage Revival Society. In 2024, Ghabbour played a key role in the launch of a 1.5 billion EGP investment company as part of the International Coalition for Egyptians Abroad. This project is set to boost Egypt’s tourism and export sectors, with contributions from Egyptian expatriates across 32 countries, aiming to enhance foreign investment and economic growth.
