Mostafa Kandil is the Co-Founder and CEO of Swvl. Since launching Swvl, Kandil has led the company through an international expansion and a strategic shift towards enterprise and recurring revenue. Swvl’s FY2025 revenue rose 41% to $24.2 million, the company returned to profitability with $1.3 million in net income, and Gulf Coopeating Council, GCC, revenue more than doubled. In the first quarter of 2026, Swvl reported 68% revenue growth to $8.2 million, a 111% increase in GCC revenue and a 71% reduction in operating losses.
