Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie (Mr. & Mrs. Smith)
Probably one of the most iconic couples in Hollywood history, Brangelina fell in love on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith back in 2005 when Brad Pitt was still married to America’s sweetheart, Jennifer Aniston. After sharing six kids together as a couple, they eventually got married in August 2014. Then in 2016, this It couple shocked the world again with their breakup after 12 years together, with Jolie announcing, “ I separated for the well-being of my family.”
Kristen Stewart & Rupert Sanders ( Snow White & The Huntsman)
Right when everybody was shipping Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s relationship during the twilight saga era, Stewart shocked us all when her affair with Snow White and The Huntsman’s director, Rupert Sanders came to light in 2012. At the time, Sanders was married to actress Liberty Ross, who was even featured in the movie. After the affair made headlines, Stewart was not brought back for the sequel. The scandal resulted in Sanders and Ross getting divorced and Stewart and Pattinson breaking up.
Paris Hilton & Chad Michael Murray (House of Wax)
Murray is known for dating his costars. He met his ex-wife Sofia Bush on the set of their TV show, One Tree Hill, back in 2003 and they got married two years later. In 2015, he shot the horror movie, “House of Wax,” with Paris Hilton and the two hooked up while he was still married to Bush and Hilton was dating Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. When Bush filed for divorce, she and Murray had been married for just five months.
Angelina Jolie & Billy Bob Thornton (Pushing Tin)
Angelina Jolie and her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton fell in love on the set of their movie “Pushing Tin” in 1999. Thornton was engaged to actress Laura Dern when he left her to marry Jolie later that year. Dern said in an interview, “I left our home to work on a movie, and while I was away, my boyfriend got married, and I’ve never heard from him again.” Jolie and Thornton divorced in 2003.
Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe (Proof of Life)
Meg Ryan was married to actor Dennis Quaid in 1991 and they had a son together. In 2001, while Ryan was shooting “Proof of Life,” she fell in love with her costar, Russell Crowe. When the affair became public later that year, Ryan and Quaid divorced. Ryan and Crowe lasted as a couple just a few months before they called it quits.
Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes (Northern Lights)
This is probably one of the most controversial love affairs in Hollywood. Country star LeAnn Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian met on the set of their movie, Northern Lights, in 2008. At the time Rimes was married to former dancer and Chef Dean Sheremet, while Cibrian was married to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville. When the affair became public, the two marriages were ruined. However, Rimes and Cibrian have been happily married since 2011.
Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith (Two Much)
The sexy Spanish actor Antonio Banderas’ and sweetheart actress Melanie Griffith’s love affair started on the set of their movie, Too Much, in 1996. At the time, Banderas was married to Ana Lenz and Griffith was married to Don Johnson and they had a daughter, actress Dakota Johnson. Shortly after their divorces, Banderas and Griffith got married and had a daughter together. Sadly the couple divorced in 2015.
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux (Wanderlust)
America’s sweetheart Jennifer Aniston met actor Justin Theroux on the set of their 2012 movie, “Wanderlust.” Theroux had been in a relationship with Heidi Bivens for 14 years at the time. Shortly after their relationship ended, he started dating Aniston. Aniston and Theroux got married in 2015, but their marriage only lasted for three years. The former couple reportedly stayed good friends.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard (The Rum Diary)
This is probably one of the weirdest couples we have seen recently… The affair between the former Sexiest Man Alive Johnny Depp and actress Amber Heard allegedly started while they were shooting their movie, The Rum Diary in 2011. Depp was still married to his longtime partner, French singer Vanessa Paradis, with whom he has a daughter, now model-actress Lily-Rose Depp. The couple quickly started dating and married after Depp split from his ex-wife, but eventually went their separate ways after a brutal divorce.
Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy (Woman of the Year)
The old Hollywood couple met on the set of their movie, Woman of the Year in 1942. The chemistry between them was so strong on set that it turned into a real-life affair. However, as Spencer was married to Louise Tracy, the couple kept their relationship a secret for over twenty-six years until Spencer died in 1967. Hepburn, who couldn’t even attend his funeral, only spoke publicly about their relationship after the death of Spencer’s wife in 1983.
Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton (Cleopatra)
Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor met her fifth husband, Richard Burton, while filming the classic movie Cleopatra, in 1963. Taylor was still married to her fourth husband Eddie Fisher at the time, while burton was married to his first wife Sybil Williams. Although they were both married, that didn’t stop them from having a public scandalous affair. After their divorces, the couple got married in 1964 and divorced ten years later. They remarried in 1975 for less than a year.
