Over the years, Jennifer Lopez has done nothing but stun us all, time after time, because of how insanely good she always looks. She’s almost too gorgeous to be true and it makes us all feel like we’re doing something wrong. How could you be 47 and look like that, while we’re 20 or 30-something years old, and are constantly stuffing our faces and finding frown lines that have come way too soon? We seriously don’t know how she does it.
Here are some of her best looks and why they still remain so memorable.
The 2016 Golden Globes. We are at a serious loss for words.
Backstage at American Idol Season 14, 2015. We don’t see how anyone could ever wear that topknot hairstyle after seeing how she completely slays it.
Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2015. We’re all well aware by now that absolutely no one pulls off a provocative look the way she does.
LACMA Art & Film Gala in 2014. So, it’s also safe to say that no one wears a plunging neckline the way Jennifer can.
On “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in 2016. We won’t even discuss how her legs look in this photo.
Golden Globes after-party in 2016. As if she didn’t completely wow enough on the red carpet, this is how she showed up to the after-party.
Billboard Music Awards in 2015. Again, taking provocative to a whole new level.
The 2015 Golden Globes. We’re pretty sure if anyone else ever tried to wear this cape-style dress, they’d look like Batman, but somehow, she makes it look so effortlessly chic.
Billboard Music Awards in 2014. We can’t even say red is definitely her colour, because every other colour is also her colour.
MTV Video Music Awards in 2014. Seriously, we won’t even disrupt this sparkling moment with a comment. But we are pretty sure that 10 years from now, people will still be questioning the underwear situation.
People’s Choice Awards in 2017. This is probably the holy grail of Jennifer’s moments: when she gave us actual life goals. The dress, the makeup, the hair, everything – there are no words.
We think it’s safe to say that there is nothing that Jennifer Lopez cannot pull off. We’ll just be over here obsessing over her and wallowing in self-pity because we’ll never manage to look this good.
