Hossam Abdelwahab is the Chair- man of the Board of Directors of Misr Capital, established in 2010 as a subsidiary of Banque Misr. He joined Banque Misr in October 2018 as Vice Chairman, after serving as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait, where he oversaw the retail, branch, and SME divisions from 2016 until September 2018. Misr Capital manages assets of more than EGP 27 billion across listed and unlisted companies, with a focus on financial services, petrochemicals, agribusiness, and real estate.
