Hisham Okasha assumed the role of CEO of Banque Misr in September 2024, following Mohamed El Etreby’s move to NBE. During his tenure at NBE, Okasha developed an extensive branch network of over 640 locations, serving nearly 19 million customers. His strong leadership also led Banque Misr to achieve impressive financial results for 2023. The bank reported pre-tax profits of EGP 80.9 billion, paying EGP 28 billion in taxes, resulting in net profits of EGP 52.9 billion. His tenure is expected to drive further growth and innovation at Banque Misr.
