Hazem Barakat is an Egyptian businessman and investor who co-founded BPE Partners and B Investments in 2006, serving as Chairman of both firms, alongside his role as Non-Executive Chairman of Madinet Masr. With extensive experience in private equity, investment management and industrial operations, he has played a key role in developing businesses across multiple sectors. He previously co-founded Miraco-Carrier, a leading regional air-conditioning manufacturer, and Engineering Plastic Manufacturing. He also serves on the boards of several companies, including Al-Ismaelia, Basata E-Payments, B Healthcare Investments and Daikin Egypt, contributing to investment and business development across Egypt.
