Hassan El Kalla has been Founder and Chairman of Cairo for Investment and Real Estate Development (CIRA Education) since 1992. He has played a long-standing role in Egypt’s education sector, having also founded Futures Educational Systems, Badr University in Cairo and EDU Systems International. For the 2026/2027 academic year, the group achieved a record net increase of approximately 11,000 students across its Higher Education and K-12 platforms, marking the largest annual increase in enrolment in Egypt’s private education sector.
