Hani Berzi is the Founder, Group Chairman and CEO of Edita Food Industries, one of Egypt’s leading packaged food manufacturers. Since establishing Edita in 1996, Berzi has helped build a diversified business while expanding its regional manufacturing and export footprint. Edita’s latest results underline that strategy: in the first half of 2026, revenue rose 32.5% year on year to EGP 12.3 billion, while net profit increased 63% to EGP 1.5 billion. Export sales also climbed 52.3% to EGP 1.17 billion, alongside the continued expansion of local production in Iraq and new capacity in Egypt. In January 2026, Edita further expanded its exclusive ownership of the HoHos, Twinkies and Tiger Tail brands to more than 45 additional countries.
