Everyone who’s anyone in the music business ups their game when the Grammys night rings its way to town, and whether they’re doing it for the tunes or the red-carpet swoons, one thing we can all safely agree on in this year’s Grammys is that #TimesUp fellas!
The star-studded ceremony featured dozens of beautiful white roses on gowns and lapels in solidarity with the widespread feminist movement, while a few women took the risky androgynous path with either a pop or a massive flop – We’re talking to you, Anna Kendrick and Janelle Monae!
Without further ado, here are our top favourite picks from this year’s Grammys glam, and a few of those who needed an urgent wardrobe change…
LANA DEL REY
The 32-year- old sultry songstress and Best Pop Vocal Album of the year nominee turned heads left and right in her nude Gucci gown, similar light makeup and a crown of stars. All hail Dame Del Rey!
The Bodak Yellow rapper flew away from the nest and soared through her first Grammys red carpet in a stunning swan-like gown equipped with wings and tail by Saudi-Arabian designer Mohammed Ashi.
Mother Marilyn! English singer Rita Ora didn’t take home any Grammys that night, but she sure stole our hearts in a sexy one shoulder black gown by Ralph and Russo.
Looking super dapper there Ms. Kendrick! The singer/actress sported a sleek Balmain suit, coupled with baby pink heels and lacy undergarments.
Zayn had all the ladies swooning on the red carpet over his Richard James pink suit, Ralph Lauren shoes and signature dreamy eyes.
Va-va- voom! Hitmaker Camila Cabello channeled Old Hollywood Glamour and looked Jessica-Rabbit-ravishing in a red Vivienne Westwood Couture gown and Judith Leiber’s disco ball clutch.
Heartthrob Nick Jonas was not nominated for any Grammys but that didn’t stop him from stealing the show on the red carpet in a dashing John Varvatos outfit.
Lady G was set to deliver one hell of a performance of album title track Joanne on Grammys’ main stage, but first, she flaunted the red carpet in this lacy Armani Prive number.
The 47-year- old country singer might be the most Grammy-awarded living artist, but that didn’t take away from the fact that her red Sachin & Babi gown on the red carpet looked quite unflattering.
Best Pop Solo Performance nominee and Rockstar mom of two slaughtered a purplish-blue Armani Prive wild animal and frolicked the red carpet wearing its frizzy mane. Yikes.
We fell head over heels for the young singer’s squeaky-clean strapless Alexandre Vauthier SS18 look, but maybe not so much for the purple knee-high latex boots… #OnTheFence
We’re all for white roses and everything Dolce & Gabbana, but perhaps actress/singer Janelle Monáe could have possibly opted for a lot less floral prints and different material that better flaunts her figure.
American Idol’s first ever winner, Kelly Clarkson never cared much for fashion and focused more on the music, and it’s clear this Christian Siriano number is not the best fitting for the renowned recording artist.
We were all buzzing over the Despacito dancer when she joined Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee on stage, but we’re not entirely sure if we feel the same way about her glittery nude Giannina Azar gown.
