ENIGMA MAGAZINE CELEBRATES ART & GLAMOUR WITH AN EXCLUSIVE VIP RED CARPET EVENT

Enigma Magazine and its Founder & CEO Yasmine Shihata hosted a unique art event titled ‘Covers Reimagined’ at the Nile Ritz-Carlton Garden on June 22, 2021. The event celebrated Enigma’s unique collaboration with Egyptian contemporary artists, where a selection of Enigma’s most iconic covers over the past 20 years, were recreated into art by talented young Egyptian contemporary artists. The red carpet event was a glamorous, star-studded celebration, where more than 65 paintings were on display for one night only, in a unique and unforgettable garden setting.

Several A-list Egyptian celebrities attended the event, including: Laila Eloui, Elham Shahine, Hala Sarhan, Poucy Shalaby, Khaled El Nabawy and his son Nour El Nabawy, Amr Youssef, Amina Khalil, Injy El Mokkadem, Mohamed Farag, Passant Shawky, Rania Youssef, Naglaa Badr, Reham Haggag, Tara Emad, Lara Scandar, Abu, Razan Maghrabi, Mariam El Khosht, Hend Abdelhalim, Mai Elghety, Omar Shenawy, Adam Sharkawy, Hassan Malek, Mohamed Hefzy, Tayam Amar, Mohamed Zidan, Sherif Nour Eldin, Mohsen Mansour and Johara

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Over 700 VIP guests attended this night of art and glamour, promoting Egyptian artists. Enigma also promoted young Egyptian performers throughout the night; with performances by Hana Ghoneim, Youssef Hassan, Hamdoon, Engy Waleed and Yasser Ayoub. And one of Egypt’s most popular DJs, DJ Roro, kept the crowd pumping with amazing music sets throughout the evening.

Guests were also treated to a 5-star catering by the Nile Ritz-Carlton and a beautiful garden set up created by the event planner Noha Khalil. Pro Vision, a leader in videography and lighting company did the amazing lighting throughout the venue. And Egypt’s London Cabs provided transportation for the celebrities, while Al Sagheer Salons provided hair and make up for several of the stars in attendance.

To curate the art, Enigma collaborated with three leading Egyptian art firms: Contemporary Legacy, an international contemporary art firm, ArtTalks Egypt, a leading art gallery and Aranzad Art Hub, a creative platform promoting art.
