Eng. Mohamed Farag Amer is the Founder and Chairman of Faragalla Group, which he established in 1973 and developed into one of Egypt’s major food-processing and export businesses. Amer specialised in the frozen-food industry before building Faragalla around three core businesses: Egyptian Food Company, Food Development Company, and Freezing & Beef Processing Company. The group today manufactures and exports a broad portfolio of frozen foods, juices and processed food products, with operations extending into international markets. Amer remains Chairman while the next generation of the family becomes increasingly involved in the business.
