Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno was appointed Egypt’s Minister of Culture in July 2024. He pledged to rebuild the ministry’s visual identity across all publications and digital platforms to reflect its values and objectives and to integrate technology through a modern website and digital platforms that serve as a model of efficiency and appeal. In April 2025, he announced three major joint cultural projects with the UAE, reinforcing cultural exchanges through participation in events in Sharjah to promote Egyptian culture and enhance its regional presence.
