Dr. Diaa Rashwan has served as Minister of State for Information since February 2026. Before his ministerial appointment, he also served as Syndicate Head of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate for three consecutive terms. Under his stewardship, the re-established Ministry of State for Information is pioneering major structural reforms across the national media landscape. Rashwan is actively leading efforts to overhaul digital journalism frameworks, enhance transparency, and strengthen coordination among government spokespersons to ensure the rapid flow of accurate data, while preparing for the landmark First Egyptian Media Conference scheduled for December 2026.
