After an absence of over 30 years, the one and only Sherihan is back in the spotlight. Last Ramadan she surprised her fans with the Vodafone campaign telling her life story in a short musical advertisement. Now, Sherihan is taking it a step further, resuming her acting career with her starring role in Coco Chanel, a musical play written by Medhat El Adl and directed by Hady El Bagoury. The online platform Shahid VIP posted the teaser for the musical and later followed up with its release date being the first day of Al Adha Feast.
The play’s plot revolves around Coco Chanel, the famous fashion icon, who rose from humble beginnings to become this great designer with unmatched international fame. Born into a low-income family and raised in an orphanage after her mother passed away, her unusual story impressed Sherihan, who found it a great role for her return in typical Sherihan style.
