Celebrities You Didn’t Know Were Related

The celebrity world is full of connections, from famous faces marrying (and then divorcing) one another, to fabulous friendships and bitter rivalries. But, some celebrities are even closer than we realise. Here are five different celebrity relations that often go unnoticed…

Riley Keough and Elvis Presley

It would be difficult to guess from their names alone, but Mad Max and Logan Lucky star Riley Keough is in fact the granddaughter of the king of rock, Elvis Presley. As the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, Keough has also been the step-daughter of both Michael Jackson and Nicholas Cage! Despite coming from an incredibly famous family, and her mother being the sole heir to Elvis Presley’s wealth and estate, Keough has made it important for herself to make her own way in life and earn her own money!

Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton

Although not a family relation per se, Miley Cyrus does have a very famous godmother. The Hannah Montana star turned pop icon’s Nashville roots extend further than just her father Billy-Ray Cyrus, but also to the one and only Dolly Parton. Parton is a long-standing family friend of the Cyruses, and Miley benefited from being around this legend of country music. The 9 to 5 singer told Good Morning America in 2009 that she has loved Miley ‘like one of her own,’ after Billy-Ray Cyrus asked Parton to be his baby daughter’s godmother in 1992.

Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci

The two film stars are related by marriage, as Blunt’s sister, Felicity, is Tucci’s wife. The two couples, which include Emily’s celebrity husband John Krazinski share a very close relationship – spending family holidays together and sharing videos of themselves.

Florence Pugh and Toby Sebastian

Florence Pugh rocketed to fame in recent years after landing blockbuster roles in Hollywood hits Midsommar and Little Women. This British film star is known for her acting skills and effortlessly chic fashion, but less well known is that she is the sister of singer and Game of Thrones star Toby Sebastian Pugh (who goes by Toby Sebastian). Toby played Trystane Martell in seasons five and six of the world’s most famous TV show, whilst also gaining traction in the music world in recent years.

Julia Roberts and Emma Roberts

Although the clue is in the name, many fans fail to notice that Julia and Emma are actually related. Julia is Emma’s aunt, and it is clear that Emma has chosen to follow in her A-lister Aunt’s footsteps. One of the biggest rom-com legends in history, Julia no doubt mentored her niece and Emma now has over 50 acting credits to her name, including the comedy film We’re the Millers and the teen-thriller Nerve.
