Captain Ahmed Adel joined EGYPTAIR as a pilot in 1988 and has since held several senior operational and executive positions. Reappointed Chairman and CEO in February 2025, he leads the group’s subsidiaries and oversees its transformation and modernisation strategy, with a focus on fleet expansion, network growth, digital development and improved passenger services. His leadership comes at a pivotal time as EGYPTAIR works to strengthen its international connectivity.
