The entire Marriott, Zamalek was at their service, virtually every celebrity, socialite and VIP in the region was present and the hotel banqueting areas were transformed into stylish havens for this once in a lifetime event. Even a huge tent had to be built in the parking lot area to accommodate their extensive guest list. Oh, and Enrique Iglesias performed…along with Elissa and Rola Zaki. And for the young and funky crowd, superstar DJ Guetta was on hand. Weddings really don’t get bigger or better than this!
Freddy & Rania
When Freddy Talaat Ghabbour and Rania George Emil decided to tie the knot, the celebration turned out to be one of the year’s most extravagant events. Latin fever was in the air at this fabulous wedding held at the JW Marriot gardens, as Spanish singer Jose Fernandez had Egypt’s crème de la crème danced the night away in style.
Imane & Sherif
The Mena House hotel was the most fitting location for the wedding of Dr. Zahi Hawas’ son Sherif when he wed the beautiful Imane Abd El Wahab. The glamorous event was attended by Cairo’s who’s who, including the likes of Arab superstars Omar Sharif, Mahmoud Adel Aziz and Laila Elwy…to name but a few!
Jafar & Ghazal
In a stunningly decorated ballroom at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Amman, the jet-set couple Jafar Dajani and Gazal Kamel tied the knot with a dazzling wedding and ultra stylish party. With a host of international guests flying in from all over the world, this was one spectacular and lively wedding celebration.
Mohamed & Noha
Egypt’s crème de la crème turned out in full force to the sumptuous wedding of Mohamed Othman and Noha Mahmoud Othman (Former first lady Gehan el Sadat’s daughter). The extravagant wedding planer Mahmoudaky transformed the Four Seasons Nile Plaza hall into a wedding wonderland. And the luscious Lebanese singer Ragheb Alame and Egyptian pop icon Amr Diab kept everyone on the dance floor, long into the night!
Yasmine & Hatem
The Semiramis Inter-Continental hotel provided the perfect backdrop for the fairy tale wedding of Yasmine Gazaz and Hatem Oqukel. The likes of Amr Diab and his gorgeouswife Zeina Ashour, celebrated alongside the beautiful pair as they danced with their friends until dawn. Performances by singing sensations Myriam Faris and Boshra helped make this one of the year’s most fabulous weddings.
