Afara participated in numerous events, yet he sees his involvement in the 2016 Oscars a career highlight. “Being involved in such a prestigious and globally recognised event was a surreal experience,” he says. Designing exclusive after-parties for Hollywood’s biggest night gave him the opportunity to showcase his flair for luxury and glamour on a global stage. “Working alongside top industry professionals and creating an atmosphere worthy of Hollywood’s biggest night was both challenging and rewarding.” This opportunity not only spotlighted his unique style on a grand scale but also solidified his reputation in the industry.
Afara’s approach to planning a successful event starts with a deep understanding of his client’s vision. “I start with in-depth consultations, followed by meticulous planning of every detail, from venue selection and decor to entertainment and logistics,” he explains.
