With season 4 of Al Anisa Farah (Miss Farah) airing on MBC Misr and Shahid VIP, we decided to travel ALL the way to S-Production’s cosy office in the heart of Zamalek just to meet up with the cast and have a little chit chat… Okay, maybe it was a two-minute walk from our office but we wouldn’t be the divas we are if we didn’t exaggerate a little. eniGma’s Nouran Deyab caught up with Magdy for a quick and fun convo, snacks included!
We decided to take a walk down memory lane with Ahmed Magdy, who is playing Shady Wahdan, the rich heir of the Wahdan family who is also the father of Farah’s baby, who was brought to this world by a freak mistake by Farah’s gynaecologist, who happens to be Shady’s sister, who was having a mental break down! Yes, as weird as that sounds, that’s exactly what happened but let’s move on and jump right into Magdy’s funniest memory on the show! “The funniest memory I had on the show is of the scene where Farah imagines Farid’s birthday going perfectly well with Shady and Tarek becoming the best of friends. Behind the scenes, we were all throwing insider jokes and laughing, even Wael Farag joined in with us,” says our gorgeous star.
For anxious fans of Shady on the show, Magdy gave us a preview that Shady’s character is up for a major upgrade during these last two seasons and that he would become a better person. He actually acknowledged that if Shady were real he would never be friends with him, while not totally giving up on him, “Although Shady isn’t the type of person I would befriend, he does have some good qualities, like his determination. If there is something we have in common, it would be how hardheaded we both are.” Magdy adds that during these last two seasons both Shady and Farah work on their issues together, allowing them to grow.
As much as we would love to finally know who Farah will choose to continue her life with, I guess we’ll have to wait.
