Salah Diab is the Founder of Al Masry Al Youm, Egypt’s leading independent newspaper launched in 2004, as well as Chairman of PICO Group, a diversified conglomerate with operations in agriculture, energy, food, and real estate. He is also the Founder of La Poire Group, established in 1975, specialising in French pastries and confectionery through four brands: La Poire Patisserie, Beano’s Café, La Poire, and Stavolta Gelato. In 2025, Diab also published his memoirs, Haza Ana (This Is Me).
