Mohamed Halawa is an Egyptian businessman and industrialist who serves as Owner, Chairman and Managing Director of Halawa Group. He is also a Member of the Egyptian Senate and Chairman of its Industry, Trade and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Committee, a position he retained following the committee elections in October 2026. Through his business and parliamentary roles, he is involved in Egypt’s industrial development, trade and investment landscape. He also serves as Chairman of the Trade, Customs and Immigration Committee at the Pan-African Parliament, strengthening his involvement in regional economic cooperation.
