Randa El-Menshawy was appointed Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities in February 2026. She spearheaded significant advances in digital governance, infrastructure development, and regulatory enforcement. She has overseen the implementation of residential and service projects under the presidential Housing for All Egyptians initiative. She has also driven the development of the 500-feddan Fustat Hills Gardens, combining heritage preservation with a 131,000-sqm investment zone featuring four malls, a handicrafts district and a tourism hub.
