Karim Tarek Nour is the Co-Founder and CEO of Kashat, the region’s first nano-finance company tackling financial exclusion by providing financial services to the under-banked. Kashat secured a five-year partnership with MasterCard, digitising key financial processes to enhance services for Egypt’s unbanked and underbanked populations. Before his role as the CEO of Kashat, Nour occupied multiple positions at Tarek Nour Communications, starting as Corporate Officer in March 2008 and eventually becoming CEO in March 2015, a position he held until September 2020.
