Vice Chairman of Travco Group

Karim El Chiaty is Vice Chairman of Travco Group and sits on various boards including Travco Group International Holding, Travco Properties and Hard Rock Café Egypt. He is also the Founder of Travco Properties, the real estate development arm of Travco Group, the fastest-growing subsidiary of the travel conglomerate. Its notable projects include Almaza Bay, a six million-square-meter flagship mixed-use development on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast. In 2024, Travaco Group had significant investments in Mykonos, including the “Anandes” hotel (formerly known as “Elysium”), a 22-million-euro project, and the villa of Panos Marinopoulos in Fanari, acquired for 10 million euros. Additionally, the Group has purchased and renovated Lakis Gavalas’s villa in Ftelia.
