Abd El Hamid Aboumoussa has been a prominent figure in the banking sector for over four decades. Serving as the Governor of Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (FIBE) since 1994, he has played a crucial role in promoting Islamic banking principles and supporting economic development projects. Before his tenure at FIBE, Aboumoussa worked for the Central Bank of Egypt for 16 years and held various leadership positions, including Deputy Chairman of the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions, and Director at the Islamic Development Bank and Ain Shams University.
