Dr. Amr Talaat has been Minister of Communication and Information Technology since 2018. With 30 years of experience, he launched the Digital Egypt portal to streamline government services and promote digital and financial inclusion, a pivotal achievement in advancing the country’s digital transformation. Dr. Talaat has overseen the complete transformation of Egypt’s national postal service, renovating nearly 4,000 offices and digitising services. His initiatives have expanded ICT upskilling programmes, training over 600,000 individuals in three years.
