To be present at such a luxurious event with an artistic concept, a beautiful setup and an overall joyous atmosphere is one thing but to have the ability to capture and immortalise every single moment is another story. When it comes to storytelling through photography, no one does it better than Karim Roushdy’s very own photography company; Bullseye. Starting as a corporate sales manager, Roushdy has been dabbling with professional photography part-time since 2010. Today, Bullseye has become one of the leading photography companies in Egypt and has even taken steps to cross boundaries and expand internationally.
After quitting his job in 2011, Roushdy wanted to make a name for himself as a photographer. In the span of a year, he started his own corporate and wedding photography company, Bullseye. Roushdy started initially as a wedding photographer before moving on to events and corporate photography. “I love weddings. I have fun at weddings and I always attend with so much joy and excitement. Thankfully, most of the weddings I film have good vibes” says Roushdy. In the last weekend of June alone, Bullseye was actively working on two huge weddings, with his team split between Taba and the North Coast to cover two of the biggest weddings of the season.
Due to the pandemic, with weddings either cancelled or downsized significantly, the wedding photography industry was negatively affected. However, Roushdy managed to keep his business alive and thriving. Unlike other businesses, Bullseye remained quite active despite the challenges.
Already prominent and rapidly growing in Egypt, Roushdy is making solid plans to expand Bullseye’s business internationally. Having already covered weddings in countries such as Greece, the USA and the Emirates, Bullseye has already dabbled in the international wedding scene. “I like to make sure that everything is going according to plan. Right now, I am working on expanding Bullseye internationally. I am working on being ready whenever the opportunity abroad presents itself,” says Roushdy. With Bullseye already a force to be reckoned with and having a presence at all of Egypt’s biggest events, we can’t wait to witness its growth and expansion into the international market.
