Planning Perfection

Noha Khalil's Vision of Glamour

No event like ours could have been executed without a professional event planner who genuinely cares about doing the job right; and luckily for eniGma, our event planner, Noha Khalil, fit the bill so well. When it came to flower arrangements, large swathes of green walls or chair and table placements – Khalil’s taste was truly impeccable. With a steady hand and an obvious passion for what she does, Khalil was responsible for the amazing setup of eniGma’s Covers Reimagined event from A to Z.

Khalil has been passionate about art for quite some time. Starting as a wedding photographer after her graduation with a university degree in fine arts, she got a taste of the event planning field. “When I was a wedding photographer, I cared a lot about the setup and decorations, and I took so many pictures of the wedding venue. I loved photographing the area where the wedding would be held,” recalls Khalil, who notes that it was a trip to photograph a wedding in Yemen that started her real interest in event planning. “It was on that trip that I truly learned all about the concept of event planning. When I came back, I decided to join the event planner I went with to Yemen as her assistant. After doing that for two years, I started my own event planning company,” she adds.

Khalil worked on many big weddings and events since she started her own event planning company. While she ranks her brother’s wedding as the most exciting event she worked on, she says that eniGma’s Covers Reimagined celebration is a close second! Covers Reimagined was “a very personal experience” for Khalil, the fine arts major and art lover at heart. After working hard on the event for weeks and until the very last minute, Khalil says that it was a wonderful experience and that she especially enjoyed the art. The colourful paintings of Youssra by Hossam Dirrar and the Ruby painting by Sandy Sawiris were among her favourites.

Khalil’s positive attitude and steadfast calm, even at the most stressful of times, was truly a sight to behold. “Being an event planner has taught me to see the beauty in every place I see. I notice many details that people don’t see and I make sure to include them in my vision to achieve the best results possible for the event being planned,” says Khalil, adding, “Event planning is not easy work. There is a lot that goes into it. I am thankful for my team and I truly couldn’t have done any of this without their help.”
