The cast for the upcoming Ocean’s Eight keeps on growing. In an Entertainment Tonight exclusive, Matt Damon has announced that he will be reprising his memorable role as Linus Caldwell from the original Ocean’s movies as part of the brand new, all-female spin-off. Richard Robichaux has also been added to a stellar cast that is spearheaded by, wait for it, Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Rihanna. What’s more, George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh will also return as producers in Ocean’s Eight.
There have been rumours that the film will revolve around the adventures, if you will, of the sister of Clooney’s Danny Ocean character, played by Sandra Bullock. Shooting for the film has already begun in New York City, and the project has a targeted release date of summer 2018.
