After surviving a mysterious illness that had her legions of fans worried for her life, pop singer Cher has announced that she’ll be going on her farewell tour in 2017. The legendary performer had previously affirmed that two of her past tours, in 2002 and 2014, would be her last act, but the 70-year-old icon is clearly unwilling to give up the stage just yet. “The older you are, the harder it is,” she told Today. “My voice is still really good. I’m still, you know, active and running around. I can still fit in my costumes; so I thought that this is probably – it’s now or never.”
