Let’s start with a brief overview of your background and how you started your career.
I live in the United States, and I have been performing concerts across the United States since 2015. Currently, l am actively pursuing my passion, creating mesmerising music videos. I am collaborating with a talented Hollywood actor on an exciting music video project that will bring a fresh and innovative idea to life. This upcoming music video will showcase an enchanting Arabic song, set for release in Egypt, where its essence will truly resonate.
My previous release was an exhilarating medley that seamlessly blended English and Arabic, paying homage to the rich musical heritage of both cultures. By intertwining two songs, I aimed to highlight the striking similarities between two extraordinary musical traditions. With every new endeavour, my dedication to pushing boundaries and uniting diverse cultures through music remains unwavering.
How was your experience with eniGma’s 10th Celebration of Arab Glamour and Success in Beverly Hills?
Being selected by eniGma to perform at this prestigious event in Los Angeles was an amazing opportunity and a tremendous leap forward for me. This moment felt like a turning point in my career. I am honoured to have been part of this incredible event and the opportunity to sing among such esteemed celebrities like Khaled El Nabawy and Mona Zaki was a dream come true.
The location in Beverly Hills added an extra touch of glamour, and the event itself was flawlessly organised, showcasing its grandeur and significance on a California scale. The positive feedback from those who attended the event or witnessed it from afar has been incredibly encouraging. I am deeply grateful to everyone who made this opportunity possible, and I am excited to see where this milestone will take me on my journey in the world of music.
What do you think makes you stand out from other singers?
As a singer, I possess a unique quality that sets me apart, namely my ability to sing in multiple languages. Having had the privilege of performing in numerous prestigious concerts, catering to both Arab and American audiences, I have experienced the true power of music in bridging cultures.What makes my journey even more distinct is the fact that I am one of the few Egyptian singers thriving in the United States. Representing my heritage through my music, I take great pride in being an ambassador for Egyptian culture and music on American soil.
A significant milestone in my career that I cherish, is being the chosen performer at the highly prestigious Miss California USA party. This iconic event played a major role in propelling me towards greater success and opened doors to even more significant opportunities.
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
My goal is to captivate and connect with audiences across Egypt and Arab countries, while seamlessly blending the rich melodies and rhythms from both Arab culture and the United States. I want to bridge the gap between these two diverse musical traditions and to create a harmonious fusion that resonates with listeners from all walks of life.
What is the best advice you’ve been given?
The King, Mohamed Mounir, gave me the most invaluable advice that resonates deep within my soul. It is like a symphony playing in my heart. He recognised my talent after a breathtaking performance, inspiring me to a new level of artistic expression. ‘Sing what you feel and explore the melodies of every land, nation and country weaving them into the very fabric of your being and your personality,’ he said. From that moment on, I embarked on a melodic journey that transcended borders and connected hearts globally. This advice became the soundtrack of my artistic transformation, shaping my unique musical identity.
